A Look at Ways You Can Limit Hair Loss After Pregnancy
After having a baby, you will be in for a few stressful months ahead. Although you are filled with joy, you’re also just plain tired. In addition to caring for your infant, there will be lots of things to do around the home. You may think that things can only get better, but soon you notice that your hair is starting to fall out. You shouldn’t worry too much since this happens to many different women. However, there are a few ways that you can minimize your hair loss.
The first thing you need to do is relax and stop trying to do everything at once. It’s all too common for new moms to try to accomplish tons of house work while their baby is sleeping. You can let your husband handle some of the housework or leave some of it for yourself until later. Don’t try to make fancy dinners every night, forcing you to spend hours in the kitchen at a time. A couple of nights of take-out every week isn’t going to kill anyone. You should be sleeping yourself whenever your baby is taking a nap. If you make the mistake of not getting enough sleep, your body will begin to deteriorate and you’ll soon be sorry.
Try not to let yourself become over-stressed about things that are outside of your control. For example, if your in-laws really stress you out, talk the situation over with your husband and then try to minimize your contact with them. In order to allow you to get some rest, maybe your husband could spend some time with the baby over at their house. Remove stressors from your environment as much as possible, too. You should consider buying paper plates and cups which will limit the number of dishes that you have to wash every day. The key is to relax as much as you can.
Although it’s easy to devote all of your time to your new baby and your other children, you need to make time for yourself, too. If you don’t take care of your hair or body properly, then you won’t feel too good about the situation anyway. Snatch moments to relax in a hot tub of bubble bath or to shampoo your hair. Consider going to a spa or salon if there is one in your area. You can minimize your hair loss using many of these tips. Doc No. 34Sdlhgsdl -sds
